This is María Centeno, a future star of the Grammy awards. She was with us for a few months while she was experiencing Buenos Aires life. “I’m 22 years old and I live in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I was born. I’m a musician and a singer. I have always loved music. I came to Buenos Aires to explore the music escene here. In México I have a band and I play a lot. I really wanted to explore how it would be to play in another country and that’s what brought me here.”
While she was enjoying the she is also studying here; ” I’m also studying a philosophy course at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and living in BA STOP downtown where I live. I love cultural life of the city and the art which is hiding behind every corner. I love spending time in parks around the river.”
After all this experience of playin in different bars in Buenos Aires she is planning to go back to Mexico to contunie her musical life, “It’s been a great experience, but I’m really looking forward to come back to México and make more music and play there again.”
