My name is Carolina, I’m 22 years old. I study Social Sciences and now I’m doing a reserch in Sociology about the dictatorship that happened in Argentina betwen 1976 and 1983. My aim here is study and write about the construction of the memory about this dictatorship. I went to Buenos Aires to do this and to enjoy somedays by vacation. In the past, I went to Buenos Aires with my parents but i didn’t know all the turistic places, so,  this time I went to more turistic places, like Floralis Generica, some museums, bars in Palermo, and everything was awesome and unforgetabble.

Buenos Aires has some memorials about the dictatorship, like the ESMA. In the past, this place was a clandestine prison for the political militants. The space is really great, the history is painfull but is necessary to remind this, and people don’t want to forget all those things that happened. I had a lot of great experiences in BA, I meet a lot of awasome people here in hostel and in the city and when I remember my time there, I always imagine me walking in Avenida de Mayo, next to Obelisco. For sure, I had a great time in Buenos Aires!

I definently would like to come back here for an extended experience of the city and Argentinian Culture.
